I'm interested to hear how much longer it took than your BIAB process, I'm also tempted after BIAB #06 but would need a little convincing to spend longer on process...

The whole process only took about 5 hours which is not far off what it would have taken me using the full volume BIAB method. The extra time that I took with the sparging was mostly cancelled out by the fact that initially I was only heating the water for the mash whereas with BIAB I was bringing all the water to strike temp. The sparge water was heated while the mash was on. I had more cleaning up to do of course with the mash tun but this was done during the boil so no more time overall was needed here.
