banana flovouring in beer

If this was in any shape or form a good idea, then pubs would hang racks of bananas on cards like Big D nuts as yummy bar snacks to go with your beer, and 'banana-skin-hip' would be a common billiards injury.

They don't, and it isn't, because banana beer is just plain *madness* and I reckon the first post on this thread was a wind-up --- do I win five pounds?

My go! I'm thinking of soaking some pork chops in my fermenter because scratchings go well with beer. But would I be better off 'dry-hopping' with trotter-filled muslins in secondary? Or perhaps putting gammon chunks in my barrel instead?
