I am negotiating on some scrap kegs at the moment as this is the direction I want to move with my brewing. Thermoboxes are a bit flimsy really and the stainless is not so good and you can make a much better quality job in my opinion with a keg (especially polished).

Thats my opinion - many would disagree I'm sure!!

Did you manage to source some scrap kegs Stephen?

I am in the process of marketing my house - so slowed down on brewing as shed full of stuff!

I have one keg that I was given, but done nothing with it.

As for fittings, they are from BES www.bes.co.uk I bought the wrong ones at first as I got metric, when the pipe is imperial. Look under stainless steel section.
