Munton's Imperial Stout

Post by johnmac » Mon Mar 13, 2006 12:25 pm

Made this stout kit. It tastes fine, but the head is brownish, not white like Guiness. I wonder why. And are there any stout kits which are more like Guiness and give a white head?

The imperial stout has a very strong liquorice taste - I don't like it at all. Maybe the imperial stout style is supposed to be like that and I bought the wrong thing!
