SprayMalt... to use or not to use... that is the question

Post by frederick » Sat May 03, 2008 9:57 am

I have now steralised all the gear and am now ready to start my next brew.... Nelsons Revenge. This will only be my second brew so I am still feeling my way and asking questions and my latest one is.....
The Woodfords kit consists of two cans and some Yeast and according to the instructions no extra sugar is required at the start of fermentation and only at the kegging/bottling stage when half a teaspoon per pint is required. My question is... would it be benificial to add a little dry spray malt at the start or replace the sugar with spray malt when kegging. Furthermore if dry spray malt IS added... when and how much or should I leave well alone !!!
Many thanks.... Frederick
