Well having recently kicked off humulus maximus and with Nepenthe THC very drinkable (but still a few weeks before its best) a mans mind turns to turbo- especially with a house warming party in the offing.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you... Love Potion Number 9



OK this is half a sachet of Safale 04 made up as a starter with 250 mls cooled boiled water and some caster sugar. pour into ex tesco mineral water demijohn.

Add 3 cloves and 360g caster sugar followed by 1 litre cranberry juice and 3 litres apple juice. Hide in cupboard and wait for the fizzing to stop.

I didn't measure the OG , this is a "fun" brew and the results will be shared with a few good friends.

Now how am I going to get an AG setup into the garden without arousing suspicion from SWMBO .....

That reminds me of the 'eau du vie' I made a few years ago.
I scrabbled around for fruit, from my garden and from anywhere else I could get it... Then I added 2 kilos of sugar and made 25L of 'something' using turbo yeast.
It was too dry, so I added some unfermentable sugar to it...
It was a little bit like pan-galactic-gargle-blaster, but tasted pretty grim.
So I did 'something' to it... and after that.. it tasted GREAT!
