But at least they're nice ones!! :)
Brewing Woodforde's Wherry with 1kg BKE.
Started at 1.050 on Tues, have done a reading and it's now 1.020 (3.9%), my question is after 4 days if it has dropped that far, how much will it continue to do so? I would expect the sugar conversion to slow with time.
Also the clarity, how much will it clear in the next few days? Will wait until I get 2 static readings in 24hrs before bottling after the weekend.
The taste put me in mind of Wychwood's Circle Master  '=P~', very refreshing with a nice zesty finish  , again it's early days but how will this change?
Am more than pleased so far, and I presume if I continue to get things right my brew (and brewing) will only get better from here :) .

Well done Aes, i have 40pts of wherry in a keg at the mo-the gravity finished at 1012 and has now sat for 4 days. Despite initial gassing problems my wherry has started to clear and tastes ok if a little toffee like.Opinion seems to be that alls fine and the flavour will mature over 2-3 weeks.Cheers Ken
