Some advice please

I have just decanted my Coopers Dark into a 2nd Bin prior to bottling tomorrow.
I drew a little off and its the right colour and a little cloudy which Im hoping means enough yeast toe secondary ferment in the bottles.
I had a tase. I was first mit with a Mollases tase which was quite pleasant then I was hit with a really strong bitter taste which was akin to one of those acid sweets only a bit milder. one over that I got the mollases flavours back
Has it gone off? Or is it Ok and just needs conditioning

Hi Frisp, i tried my wherry after 3 days in the keg and it tastes of toffee, im hoping its just part of the process and will settle down after a couple of weeks

Toffee (or particularly butterscotch) sounds like diacetyl to me. It needs more time on the yeast for the yeast to tidy up after itself.
