Welsh Weizen (2/10/08) A.G 3

First brew for a while.
I was a bit worried about a stuck mash using so much wheat,but with very slow run offs this was probably my best brew day so far.

3500g Wheat Malt (59.12%)
1800g Pale Malt (30.41%)
620g Munich Malt(10.47%)

30g Hallertauer 90mins 16.5 IBU
20g Fresh Coriander 5 mins
20g Grated Orange Peel 5 mins

2 Pkts Saf WB-06 pitched @ 15C

25L @ 1.053 OG (1 point off est.)

Fermenting nicely @ 19C.

This looks well tidy at the moment.

One pack of the dry yeast should be more than enough

That looks like a nice brew to me! Keep us posted as to how it goes :wink:

My Riggwelter Final Gravity was 1056 and using only one packet of Safeale 04 it's already coming over the top of the bucket :)

So with 2 packets...Wow - Watch out :roll:
