any one tried
any one tried brupaks extra special bitter with choice 2 hop n malt. got a 2 week gap between brews must plan better. also have a xmas ale just bottled after 5 days in warm will it be ok in garage now temp dropping

I've done the ESB with spraymalt, it was a while ago but I reckon that's option 2, IIRC.
To be honest, it was okay, but not as good as I expected, given the reputation of the Brupaks kits. It's quite strong, but it tasted a bit thin for the strength, which does seem odd given the amount of fermentables that goes into it. The one I made was also quite bitter, but without enough of the hop flavour that usually goes with it.
It's not a cheap kit, and I've tasted better results. I'd be interested in anyone else's opinions, perhaps I had a duff one?
