Do I skim ?

After a day I have come home to this. I used safale-so4 but just sprinkled it on the top instead of making my usual starter.

I get similar results and after a few days the head has pretty much gone. I leave the fermenter in the cold for a few days and keg. Apart from my last brew (a disaster in which I forgot the Whirlfloc) I've had clear beer.
