Hi All
Wasn't sure where to post, but as I'm brewing kits here I am.
I'm off to Brighton on a p*ss up thinly disguised as a business trip for a few days and thought I might be able to stock up on a few things as I thought that an artistic, bohemian (and lets face it studenty) sort of place like that would be awash with HB suppliers. Nope.
There seems to be one though called Easybrew, but they don't seem to have a website and the only comments I have seen about them were decidedly unflattering. They are in Oxford Street, a bit North of the main part of the city I think.
Has anyone used them and if so are they worth a detour on my way home.
Cheers
Dave

Re: Homebrew in Brighton
Hi,
The place isn't good to be honest. I live around 8 mins from it and actually don't use it unless I really have to. Bit pricey too. For example, they charge £5 for 100 bottle caps. The place opens and closes at random times too and you have to do your dealings next door in a very cramped bicycle repair shop. Supplies are pretty rubbish too.
Nothing bohemian or artistic about this place sadly.
Hope that helps

I agree. Fantastic shop and if you go along the coastline, you'll see a lovely part of the country.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
By the time I was on my way home, the last thing on my mind was brewing to be honest, so I didn't take the trip to Worthing. I had some great beers down there - buggered if I can remember the names of any of them though! I did re-aquaint myself with Worthington White Shield, because the hotels seem to be unable to do decent cask ale - what a superb beer that is.
Chris - As regards your cryptic comment, I really can't think what you mean...!
Cheers
