Receipe for a Cobra or Kingfisher

Post by vikstar100 » Fri Mar 06, 2009 5:39 pm

Hi I've done a several pilsners all of which all have turned out good.

I am look for a cobra or Kingfisher tasting clone, using onlt malt extract and hops only. I have'nt got the equipment to do a full Mash Brew.

If anyone had done one I'd be happy to know how it turned out, or if you know the ingredients, please let me know.

Thanks

Vik

From the taste of it, there's gotta be some rice as an adjunct???

While you're wating for your beer to ferment, make sure you get to your local Morrisons as they have Kingfisher at £1 per 500ml bottles. And Tsing Tao and Asahi too (well, the Wood Green branch does).

Wood Green Morrisons and Alexandra Palace Bitter?

You must be fairly local to me, I can see Ally Pally out of my front window.

Are you north, south, east or west of Alexandra Palace?

I'm right in the middle of my first AG brew day, so if I get in to trouble, I'll stand outside Wood Green tube and send up a Bat Signal to you to give me a hand! Just got the last bit of gear I needed from freecycle along with 3 bottles of great homebrew (only 1 left now) and I'm having a crack at a schwartzbier but with S-05 rather than a lager yeast. Will let you all know how it goes.
