IN 1970's Young's of Wandsworth used to do 10 gall barells of this beauty- served up off the counter and 2 to 3 Pts sold per customer. It was only sold nov/dec as I remember. Anyone know of any recipe?

Re: Young's Winter Warmer
They still do this, or at least have revived the recipe. I was allowed more than 2 pints when I last had it. It's was great, even better than Fullers Jack Frost. I'll definitely be trying this recipe.

Re: Young's Winter Warmer
An old thread, but I am thinking about trying this with the WY 1768 that I have left over. Wondering if anyone here has brewed the recipe from Real Ale Almanac posted above.
I've never tried the real thing, but the combo of malt and sugar intrigues. Safe to assume that the dark sugar is something like Invert No.3?
