Seeing as the wife was my assistant brewer last Wed i thought i`d push my luck and get her to help again.
So the sparge water was about 10mins off ready when i got in from work, so quick bite and on with the sparging.
This is what i brewed.
3500g MO Pale Malt
100g Flaked Barley
80g Roasted Barley
70g Crystal
23g Target 60mins AA 10.6%
20g Goldings 15mins AA 5%
target was 23ltrs @ 75% SG1037
BU:GU 0.82 IBU`s 30.66
Actual was 25ltrs SG1035
The original recipe also had 30g Black Malt but i omitted it as it as a burnt taste.
