Yep you can clear it and just force carb. :D

I dont use finings though, I just leave it in the FV for about 10 days and its usually fairly clear by then anyway.

I normaly get a first cloudy pint from the corny and the every pint is lovely and clear. :D

Hi Wozza
I always keg or bottle straight from the Fv after 1st fermentation. Adding .5 teaspoon of spraymalt or BKE per 500ml or 85g per keg. If im half bottling half kegging. I measure 85g and from this i take .5 teaspoon for each bottle. It's nice an easy. I think a lot of us use this FV to keg meathod. Always have a little taster while transfering it or very soon after.

Being a "Billy no mates" (all say ahhhhhhhh  ) I bottle all mine, priming with between 1/2 and 1 teaspoon of whatever to suit the brew and have never fined all brews have cleared nicely.

Primary for 10 days then straight to cornie. First pint usually cloudy but after that it's all good. :)

Having 5 kegs now means I never have to give in to temptation and have a green brew, gives me the luxury of always having a mature beer, highly recommended.
