co2 saturation preferences

Brewers,

I have been playing around with priming calculators to see how much sugar I should add to my brew before bottling.
They are all asking for desired co2 saturation volumes.

As a noob I wondered what sort of levels you all prefer as the scale seems quite large 0.3 (70g sugar) - 2.0 (111g sugar).

After a bit of googling, supermaket beer seems to come in at about 1.9 (?) does that sound about right?

By the way how addictive is all this brewing lark! I've just purchased my next kit, a brewers choice best bitter (can't wait!)

Yep, 1.9 sounds about right. Aim for between 0.8 and 2 volumes, depending on whether you prefer it sparkling like the supermarket beers or more like real ale.
