Coopers Lager - BKE or Light Spray Malt?

Post by xpers » Tue May 05, 2009 8:49 pm

I am going to start a Coopers Australian Lager tomorrow for the first time. I have 1KG of BKE which I was going to use. However I like a strong tasty lager and I also have a 500G pack of light spray malt which I am thinking of throwing in as well. Any thoughts on this before I go ahead? 1KG of BKE and 500G light spray malt.

Should I just stick with the BKE?

If you want it stronger, perhaps knock down the brew length slightly, say from 23 litres to about 20. That way you won't upset the bitterness balance. Good luck!
