I think I'm addicted...

...bearing in mind I haven't yet tasted whether what I've got on is even DRINKABLE, as it's still fermenting or conditioning...

Quick visit to the homebrew shop to pick up some hops. Came out with 2 beer kits (Coopers IPA and Black Rock Whispering Wheat), a sample jar, beer enhancer, S-O4 yeast, a new airlock, and the aforementioned Fuggles. Also put some very expensive yeast (can't remember its name, will report later!) for the wheat beer, some light and medium spraymalt and a top-tap King Keg on order.

I've got a problem....

I know what you mean. I have to really restrain myself, especially when I've been at the home brew and the mouse is hovering over over the 'BUY' button. :D

Still, it's nice to be able to indulge in a hobby - especially one as fulfilling as this!

Oh, it will get worse before it gets better, trust me on that!

Just wait til you start delving into turbo cider territory... Even your trips to the supermarket wont be safe then! I regularly find myself lurking with intent down the fruit juice aisle.

Trips to the supermarket are already dangerous. My other half makes wine, so any fruit or fruit juice on offer tends to be fair game.... But if we're both at it, we'll be fighting for them!

Oh but aint it fun?

With two FV's, I always get to the point that when one is empty and bottled, i feel sorry for it, and have to put another one on...

My main restriction is bottles (as I don't keg) - got two FV's on at present with 38 pints in each, and got about 50 glass bottles to share (the balance being made up of plastic). That is then going to leave me stuck, as I want to put a TC on, but don't have the glass!

Glad to see I am not the only one who is forever thinking what they can ferment, my wife won't let me go to the supermarket with her at the mo 'cos I just eye up the honey and fruit juices! Still this situation does have it's plus points of a Saturday afternoon. I get to spend more time with me beer. :D

Try the Mexican Cerveza, it is cheap and tastes great.
Everybody I know tells me it tastes better than many pub lagers and similar to a Corona or equivalent.
Really was surprised how nice it was.

Brewing is terribly addictive.....I just managed a trip to the Brew shop and didn't buy any beer/cider kits!!! (almost bought another Cerveza)
Pat on the back for me!

.........might have taken the option of distilling water instead........eeek!
