Only that people that have made it seem to think it produces a well flavoured, dry, crisp lager and that it doesn't sell well because not many people are prepared to leave it the 12 weeks to mature as the can suggests :D

I made this when they stopped making the Bavarian lager. I found it a bit disappointing. If you like the flavour of the Saaz hops which was the defining character of the Bavarian, it's worth trying their Brewmaster Pilsner. It's much more hoppy.

I've dona a euro as my first brew .Tasted the 1st bottle after a week conditioning because I noticed a blemish in the glass and didnt want to waste it if it went pop.

Now been in the bottle 4 weeks and guess what I'm having tonight =P~ =P~ =P~ =P~

I will do another although thinking of changing to a yeast that brews even lower temp just to see!!

I have just drank my last bottle of this and I have to say it was excellent!

It was in FV for 4 weeks, then in bottles for 4 weeks before I started to drink them but have to admit they got better the longer they were left.

I have another kit of this to do this weekend but will leave it the full 12 weeks to see how good it really can get.

For info, I tried one bottle after 2 weeks but there was still an aroma of rotten eggs from the yeast.

I done 2 gallons of TC just to help me keep the hands off it as long as possible.

Once I get enough bottles etc I cant see me buying much lager, I usually go for bottles of henikien or carlsberg but found the euro much easier to drink .

I'm doing a ditchs stout and then another euro for sure

Sums it up for me. If you like Heineken or Carlsberg then the Euro is the one. I got rid of most of mine to relatives that like that kind of northern European taste. I only posted in this thread to comment for those like me who prefer the southern central European taste that the Bavarian produced in case they needed help (as I did) in finding some kind of alternative when those sods at Coopers decided to drop it. :)

I agree that the Euro was as good as, maybe better than, most of the common northern European commercial lagers.
