FLOURIDE

(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

My local authority are considering adding flouride to the water supply, has anyone had experience of this and does it make any difference to brewing.

Cheers

Don't think it'll make any difference (though I'm sure the experts will confirm :=P ). But at least you'll have teeth that are less prone to decay :D

We've had fluoride in our water here for ages. Well as long as I've been alive at least. No adverse effects as far as I can tell. And I don't have to brush before bed after having a few.
