gonna attempt my first wheat beer this weekend. keeping it simple and also using a dried yeast. recipe is as follows:
1.8 kg pale malt
1.8 kg wheat malt
honey 450 g - @ flame out
30 liberty - 90 mins
23 litres
EBU - 16
ABV - 5 %
i was wondering if anyone could tell me what temp would be best to ferment at?

It depends on which yeast you are using. Is it one of the new dried wheat strains that are now on the market? Is it a regular ale yeast?
I always put in some honeymalt when I brew a honey beer.
I'm just here for the beer.
Re: honey hefewiezen
munich yeast is the only dried wheat beer yeast i can get hold of so thats what i will be using.
my local hbs doesn't do honey malt plus i wanted to go for a simple grain bill
