I'm guessing from the name that you're in Cheshire. There's The Brew Shop in Stockport. I've used the shop a few times and their website looks good, but I've never bought off it. http://www.thebrewshop.com/
Re: Best online home brew shop
I use BrewUK! Service second to non and a massive range of ever expanding stock, and good prices too!!
Re: Best online home brew shop
I use creativewinemaking too, as woodfordes are £14.49 and brupaks only £15.99. The postage isnt an issue if you stock up and buy 4 kits at a time.

That's the way to do it, a bit of forward planning.legion wrote:I use creativewinemaking too, as woodfordes are £14.49 and brupaks only £15.99. The postage isnt an issue if you stock up and buy 4 kits at a time.

I have found Creative Winemaking provide an excellent service and fast delivery, although the range is a little limited. They are very cheap for certain items.
I would also highly recommend Farnborough Home Brew Shop, excellent service and a very extensive range of goods.
Brewgenie are good too... very helpful, and usually had the lowest prices - but some of the other online shops are now competing on price.
Brewmart is also worth a mention, good reliable service but delivery can be a little slower, they have good prices for a wide range of goods though.
All of the shops above have free shipping deals.
You can't have a list of best suppliers without adding Barley Bottom - excellent quality, great service, and good prices for the more specialist range stocked.
Re: Best online home brew shop
Ill probably be ottlilng this brew so ill head down to the LHBS to see what they have
Re: Best online home brew shop
In my opinion, the best service for online homebrew is http://www.home-brew-online.com/, they always deliver next day if you order by 11 a.m and always have stock of evrything advertised, You cannot go wrong with site, paypal is accepted as well.
10/10

Re: Best online home brew shop
Ordered from one in Colchester today and was mightily impressed when I got a message to say the order had been dispatched less than one hour after I'd paid for it, paypal too which is always convenient

Re: Best online home brew shop
Just been told my regular online HBS won't have Challenger or Goldings Hops for the next 2 weeks, and presumably didn't have them for the week they've had my order. Usually they are excellent but I ask you...no Goldings???
Spleen vented - thanks.

Re: Best online home brew shop
Thanks for the tips everyone. I have a couple of regular suppliers who I've found reliable in the past, but they seem to have let their stocks of a few vital things run out.
If you can't get the yeast or grains or hops you need from someone who normally carries them, what's the point in ordering from them? You'll have to go elsewhere anyway, so why pay two lots of P&P?
So I've looked at some of the other places mentioned on here and my order will be going to one of them this time.
