Help Bottles a bit flat

opened a bottle of my geordie lager tonight and its not as "busy" as the lagers i've done in the past. i did for the first time prime it with a syrup of normal sugar not just lump it in and screw the top on (sorry i am using pet plastic pop bottles). i left them for a week or so and then put them in the "outhouse". i know its been cold the last month or so but it does have a temp of around 10'C.

however IMO it tastes great. it really does, however i was going to use it to serve instead of buying a crate. should i bring it in to room temp to see if it sort of re-primes and gets more fizzy or just do it say before the party starts?
