Have just got this one on to mash - unsure whether to brew twice or not yet today... :-k

4kg Pale malt
200g Caramalt

OG 1042 ish

Challenger 6.4% 13g 75min
Fuggles 3.8% 22g 75min
Challenger 6.4% 22g 30min
Fuggles 3.8% 28g 30min
Challenger 6.4% 20g 5min
EKG 4.6% 28g 5min
EKG 14g 80C Steep
Cascade 10g 0min 80C Steep

Something around 45IBU or so I reckon.

Gonna be a light, hoppy little number for a stag do later in June - Probably use S04 to ferment for ease (no other liquid stuff grown to pitchable sizes yet).

Hop schedule looks really nice. Have you brewed this before?

Nope - just kinda made it up - I wanted a bit of bitterness from the early hops, but most of it from the later additions. We'll see how it goes - just sparging... (very light colour run-off :) )

Got 21L @ 1042 or there abouts (I got 19L@1047 and diluted with a couple of litres). Pretty smooth brewday, good clear run-off too. One pack of S04 pitched at 20C and we're done for the day :)
