Extra ATC800++++++

Post by smp465 » Fri Jul 09, 2010 10:54 pm

Double brew day today, brew 2 has been done before. Brew 1 was altered by accidentally adding first batch of late hops to the wrong brew! Brew 1 was going to be a willamette/bobek brew. Any thoughts how this might turn out? I suspect it will be fine, actually quite looking forward to it! Any luck it will be somewhere between Tribute and Wherry!! Yum...

Beer 1:
4.7kg MO
0.25 Crystal
0.1 Wheat
15g Fuggles 90 mins
12g Bobek 90 mins
35g Cascade 15 mins
20g Willamette 10 mins
20g Bobek 10 mins
20g Bobek 1 min
30g Willamette 1 min

as mentioned, i added the 35g cascade by mistake, they were weighed out ready for brew 2. Brew 1 was meant to be all willamette and bobek. Next time!

Brew 2:
4.8kg MO
0.25 Wheat
0.1 Caramalt
12g Centennial 90 mins
35g Cascade 15 mins
50g Cascade 5 mins

Title of this post due to current high temperatures. I only have 1 temperature system for FV. Second brew started at 22degC at 1pm, and rose to 25deg C by 4pm! This is my Atc 800+++ for brew 2. Current pool temp is 19deg C! Time for a dip!

Hi Jubby, do you want to borrow the pool?

I need to order an ATC800+ from them, spent the weekend rearranging the shed ready for a second fridge. Don't want to go through this again, been impossible to keep the second batch cool. Hope it turns out ok :(
