I have a Mild on at the moment using the Edinburgh Ale yeast. I plan to do a Wee Heavy with the yeast cake and put it away for a while.
Has anyone got any tried and trusted recipe for this style?

Re: Recipe request: Wee Heavy
Try this: Leaning Kilt wee heavy
95% golden promise malt
3% aromatic malt
2% carastan crystal malt
(maybe 15 grams of roast barley)
39 grams of challenger @ 7% for 45 minutes
I take the first liter or two of the runnings and reduce it in a seperate pan and then add to the main boil.

I'm just here for the beer.
