is that fermenter one of those from Oxfam? Looks quite good.

I've added your brew post link to my brewday blog post.

They are the ones, I got a couple when they had a free delivery offer on earlier this year. I find that they are quite handy for the smaller lengths and test runs etc.

When spare cash allows a couple would be handy.

EYE PATCH Gyle 2

I added 300g of Jaggery Goor because I thought that it would run a bit weak. However, after my tea and a two and a half hour boil. there was hardly anything left.
Image

Got the OG up nicely with the 300g of Jaggery Goor. I reckon about 1065
Image

Wort ran nice and clear. LIke the pic, it ran a continuous stream was really surprised when I saw the pic.
Image

I love the new hop stopper, doesn't even leave a cup full behind and the wort is clear as a bell. It was still running and I could see the metal of the pan. :D
Image

Ended up with 20ltr. just enough for a cornie
Image

Good brew day all in. It started a bit naff with running out of gas but I ended up with the recipe I wanted with 12.5ltr at 1.1007 and 20ltr of 1.065 from a mash that theoretically would have provided 40ltr @ 1060 80% eff(plus the Jaggery). I am pleased with my efficiency yet again. MAGIC :D

Messy! I think I'll be putting my fermenter in a big bucket just in case mine goes down that route. Well done on getting two brews out of it, I decided against the parti-gyle in the end but from the efficiency I got I could maybe have managed it.
