My GF kindly popped into our local HBS for me this afternoon to pick up some stuff for tomorrow's brew day.
I have made only one AG batch so far, with 100% Maris Otter ,and I wanted to create a darker beer this time, so I asked her to get me some Crystal 60L.
HBS didn't know what I wanted so GF came back with two 500g bags of "Crushed Crystal Malt". One by Ritchies, one by Youngs.
There's no info on the pack and I couldn't find anything on the interweb so does anyone know what "colour" it's likely to be so I can dial it into my brewing software.
Thanks.

No it isn't.jonnyt wrote:120 is usually the default.

Standard UK crystal is in the 60-80L range, but we don't really use that scale over here. 120L would be considered "dark crystal", and the lower colour crystals usually come under "caramalt".
