And for my next kit...

It's a Coopers Bitter. Found this in the reduced section of the Hop & Grape for six of your English pounds. I'm thinking of dry hopping it in secondary with cascade and I will be making it up with 50/50 light + dark spray malt.

Anyone done this kit? Any suggestions?

Ta.

BTW, my export is coming along nicely now. It's been in the keg/bottles for a week or so now and I can tell it's getting better by the day. I wish I could keep my mits off it - so much so that i've "invested" in another fermenter in an attempt to double my efforts...Mwahahaaa!!!!

Sounds like a bargain and spray malt would seem a good idea. Not sure why the half/half light/dark split, but I'm convinced!

I reckon having a couple on at a time is definitely a good move. Hope it goes well.

Re. the 50/50 mix, I like to experiment with most things so I thought "why not". I asked Jon at the H+G and he said it will give it a slightly different flavour but nothing to wory about. Daft thing is i've just read the instructions and it requires 1.5kg spray malt and I only have 1kg! Thats the most i've seen from a one can kit.

I think i'll pop into town tomorrow if I get the chance and grab a 500g bag of dextrose.
