Norm has kegs in!

Post by Andy » Sat Feb 18, 2006 10:17 pm

Just got an email from Norm:-

"HOPE TO TRADE AGAIN SOON , JUST GOT MY LAST BATCH OF TANKS,ABOUT 30 MIGHT BE THE LAST FOR A WHILE TILL I CAN FIND NEW SUPPLIES. SO IF YOU OR YOUR FRIENDS WANT ANY MORE LET ME KNOW BEFORE THEY HAVE GONE."

If anyone's interested and wants contact details for Norm then just PM me. He was knocking them out for around £26 posted I think.

Disclaimer: I get no kickbacks etc, just a happy customer.

I spoke to Norm today.

Apparently all his Kegs have plastic lids, so it may not be possible to fit S30 valves to be able to convert to S30 gas cylinders.

Luckily, I have a pub style C02 cylinder.

What type of taps do the Corny users on here use? Do you use the "Flexi" taps, or a proper head tap?

I'll be going to see Norm on Friday to pick up my kegs etc. He said he has a couple of different types of taps. One of them being a pub type tap that G-clamps onto a surface. I just wondered what type is best to get? I have seen taps that actualy fit straight onto the disconnect.

RR.

Received two kegs from Norm today and a dual CO2 regulator...

So, you get to meet the mighty Normski RR ! :D

Regarding taps I've got a couple of flexi taps and a metal one which fits a disonnect winging their way from the states...

Well I need to drop some stuff off at Coventry on Friday and Norm said he is only 15 mins or so away. So I thought I'd save on postage costs & pick up all my stuff while up that way.

I'm getting 3 kegs, regulator etc, so would probably cost a fair bit in postage.

I've just been searching on the web for taps, but haven't come up with much supplied from here in UK. The USA seems to have a much better choice of taps.

Out of interest, who did you order from Andy, was it Brewers Direct? Do you mind me asking how much they cost?
