Hi Tony , essentially what you've got there is a nice big container of liquid malt extract to make a German style wheat beer . If you've done a few extract brews then you should be fine with this stuff . If I was looking to make a 20 l batch of wheat beer I'd be looking at something along these lines .
2.5Kg of the LME
500g of extra light DME
x g of Hallertau , Tettnang or Saaz hops not sure what the IBU of a hefewezen is but you could find out easy enough .
1 sachet or x g of a hefeweizen yeast . ie Mangrove Jack M20 or Safbrew WB-06 Yeast .
If you use the various calculators about the place that would be approx OG1,048 with a FG of 1,011 giving roughly 4.7 % , obviously you could add a bit of sugar or more LME if you wanted to up the %
There shouldn't be anything too complicated involved the only thing that might be different to anything you've done before will be a slightly lower fermenting temperature which will most likely be on the packet instructions .
Here we go , found this lurking about Hefeweizen extract recipe
And they wonder why we drink ...
