fridge thermostat?

Post by mysterio » Thu Jul 13, 2006 3:44 pm

Just realised the top temperature on my fridge is 5C which I reckon is a tad too cool for a lager yeast.

Any idea where I can get a cheapo fridge thermostat? How will I know if it works with my fridge? Are they difficult to fit?

Thanks

Order code 732-631 at http://uk.farnell.com
Stock no. 250-6061 at http://rswww.com

I looked into it for my kegerator, but I don't think I'm going to need to change it as it maintains high enough temp with existing stat. Apparently they can just replace the existing one and are really easy to fit. Be interested to know how you get on.
