10/11/07 brew day

"Noonan Brew"

20 Litres

4kg pale malt
250g flaked maize
250g torrefied wheat
100g crystal malt

85g fuggles hops at start of boil (copper hops)
25g of goldings 15 min from end of boil(late hops)

Yeast. Safeale Yeast S - 04

Mash at 65c 1.5 hours
Boil for 90 mins

1.060 at 18c

2 very productive days there MrC. All high octane I notice too, so come the cold febuary nights you will have some fine warming beers to have by the fire 8)

Nice set up there mr c. Can you explain your temp monitoring with the laptop please?

ok the Temperature is being Monitored with a "log IT Explorer" available from http://www.logo.com/cat/view/logIT-explorer-usb.html
i got mine from work for free :)

Think you can get just the usb Temperature probe with software.
