dry beer enzyme

Post by pongobilly » Wed Jan 09, 2008 7:14 pm

my muntons midas touch has been stuck on 1020 for the past 2 days, it has been in the fv for 6 days, i have ordered some enzyme from hop and grape which hopefully should come tomorow also i have ordered some bramling x to dry hop this kit,

my question is can i add the enzyme and the hops at the same time

and do i just add the enzyme straight from the packet and stir it in

if i was to dry hop in the keg do i put it in as soon as i transfer to keg how long do i leave it for and when it comes to take it out wont i lose all the pressure in the barrel from conditioning

thanks

got my dry beer enzyme and pitched it this afternoon and gave it a gentle stir, how long does it normally take to start working.

also i recieved my bramling x today to dry hop my midas touch, first time i have bought hops, wierd how it comes vacume packed in a block, do i need to do anything to it before using the hops or just wack some from the packet into the dry hop bag

well i pitched the enzyme a couple of hours ago and already i have a head back on the beer so looks like its working, i ordered 4 packets of the stuff so i have some for future stuck brews but will probably give muntons a miss till i have tried all the milestone kits and the springhead kits when the springhead kits come available

have you heard anything about when the springhead kits will be available?

Having read about them i'm quite interested myself.
