Hi all.
There is a post of all the best Mild recipes on this forum. Does anyone know of one for Bitters?
I love a good Best Bitter and ESB here in Australia. Bought a fresh litre of Best Bitters from a little brewery called Block 'n' Tackle last weekend and decided to try my hand a brewing one again. I've had mixed experiences.
So if anyone can direct me to a link or we can start a new one right here and now.

Not one that I know of - there used to be a recipe database on another site but that seemed to have dissappeared
Just thought of this, it has a lot as well as other beers though

Re: Bitters Definitive Recipes List
There is so much info on Jim's, never seen the Normans recipes before
Re: Bitters Definitive Recipes List
Certainly one of my top 5 brews, which I've made 4 times with little variation other than the yeast. It's on the palest end of ESB, and a little over for the style by OG, but only just! The WLP007 really makes it shine.

Re: Bitters Definitive Recipes List
This looks interesting. The Munich is one I don't think I've seen in ESB's before. I'll give it a run.MTW wrote:Certainly one of my top 5 brews, which I've made 4 times with little variation other than the yeast. Re: Bitters Definitive Recipes List
Anybody brewed this from Norman's list? Was wondering how close they think it is to Ridleys standard bitter in the middle 70's. I was thinking of getting some of the Wibblers yeast and trying that.As Requested Ridleys IPA
