Never use chlorine it will permanently taint the rubber in the pump . Never use hot water. I have run my home brew through my pumps for decades and find they need very little cleaning if they kept in use and flushed with water .

If you get a 'check valve' it takes a fat pipe from the pump and a push fit beer line to go to corny . I've got three set up. I'll send you a photo . Anyone know whether this beer is still available and where it can be purchased . I'm interested in the yeast as I'm going to try and clone moorhouses Pendle witch .. which (!) I believe used thwaites yeast??

Agree about Fullers it's a cracking yeast but I'm sure I read they still used the Gales strain for the Gales beers. Interesting .
