Lazy Brewery Kuki Stout

Post by subsub » Sun Jul 01, 2007 5:11 pm

I had planned this week to brew a stout. As I was at a loose end today it happened. I named it Kuki after my niece who was born yesterday (my sister in law is japanese if you're wondring about the name). Any road, recipe as follows:

Batch Size: 24.00 L
Mash 90mins
Boil 60mins
OG 1064
Brew efficiency 80.1

5.00 kg Pale Malt (2 Row)
0.50 kg Barley, Flaked
0.50 kg Crystal Malt - 40L
0.38 kg Chocolate Malt
0.18 kg Black (Patent) Malt

90.00 gm Goldings, East Kent [4.10%] (60 min) 31.2 IBU

Whirlfloc Tablet 10.0 min

S-04 Yeast

Didn't remember to take any photos  but I'm still brewing 5 gallon batches as I'm too lazy to build a cf chiller for my 10 gallon boiler
