Phew! Three beers! I need to uprade to 10 Gallons! I'll keep this thread updated with progress and pics.steve_flack wrote:The last double brew day I did felt like an epic. 6am-6pm. I did end up with three beers though as one of the brews was a 40L batch that I split - I fermented one with a lager yeast in the fridge and the other I fermented with Gervin and then added Cherry concentrate to it.Wez wrote: I can feel an upgrade coming on, too late for tomorrow, looks like it'll be a marathon brew day (6am to 7pm) , might even need a drink at the end of it.![]()

Now i'm really, really jealous.
Just emptied the cornie that had a woodfordes norfolk nog in, very nice.
The main kit is still under construction but hoping to get an extract brew done next weekend as the HLT and mash tun are not yet ready to be plumbed into the main system.
Construction pictures by the bucket load when ready!

Check out the beers we have for sale @ Mix Brewery
Both batches done and dusted both 25L.
Grumpy Bum was 1040 and Styrian Stunner 1045 very pleased with both. Didn't seem to transfer as much of the break material into the fermenter this time. Adjusted the PH to 5.2(ish) on both batches.
It's taken 12 hours to do but worth it. Think the next brewday will be a single batch!
Some pictures from today:
Recirculating the first 'Grump Runnings'..

Grumpy goes into the boiler..

Sparging..

Boil..

Chill..

PH before CRS and after..

Strian Stunner into the boiler..

Styrians..

Result..

Now for a pint!
