Brewed this today with my helpers, 28/06/08 as previously mentioned here;

Recipe;

Crystal malt 57g
Two 1.5Kg tins Brupaks Pale malt Extract 3kg
Saaz 30g
Goldings one packet Morgan's finishing hops. 12g in an "infusion bag".
Sachet Brupaks Ale yeast.

Steeping Crystal malt.

Almost boiling, out it comes.

Image

In goes the LME

Image

Followed by the Saaz.

Image

Boiling away nicely.

Image

Ten minutes from the end in goes my new homemade IC, I need a longer outlet hose for when I have no help!

Image

Fantastic! Cooled down in no time.

Image

No 3 helper distracted by destroying PPE.

Image

Running into fermenter.

Prepping Goldings "teabag"

In it goes along with the yeast... time for a beer. :D

Cheers Daab.

No 3 helper is under warning, any more of that and she's out :D However she's good at cleaning up spillages when bottling.

Your probably right about the packet of hops, I only needed a small amount though and curiosity got the better of me.

Even at £6 for 100g it's got to be cheaper to buy a block of hops.
