yeast pitched at 10.15pm. Overshot the OG by 6 points and got 1044; not really a Mild now.....but its still beer!

Some would argue that historically Milds used to have an OG of 1070 - Have a look at Durden Park for examples....

I agree, a Mild can be strong, it just doesn't seem to be fashionable nowadays to brew them :cry:

I ended up diluting it down to 1040. I'd undercollected so was worth doing just to keep the IBUs as per recipe.
