Re: Arts 101
Good stuff, it sounds a very tasty hop combo, what do you think the yeast is going to bring to it?
Re: Arts 101
You may have been asked this prerviously, but what's the purpose of the rye?
Re: Arts 101
Nothing. I've used WLP-029 quite a bit lately. It's just a very clean ale yeast along the lines of California Ale Yeast. Hops should be explosive.pdtnc wrote:Good stuff, it sounds a very tasty hop combo, what do you think the yeast is going to bring to it?

http://www.whitelabs.com/beer/strains_wlp029.html Sounds like a nice yeast for a hoppy pale, I might have to give that a go.
Re: Arts 101
It adds malt complexity. Crisp, slightly spicy. I enjoy the flavor it produces if used sparingly.RichardG wrote:You may have been asked this prerviously, but what's the purpose of the rye?
