I got 1,044 OG and I have used Some dried yeast that the local Micro uses for ales(I think its Nottingham, but my micro are a tad caggey about naming their yeast) in a 1L DFS(DaaB Flying Starter), and by the smell in the FV its doing a cracking job already.
The FV is in a room at 18C.
No Photos I'm afraid, but this was AG7 one more and I will have done more AG brews than kits

Oh and I batch sparged as usual and used DaaBs calc

I should add that I had no flaked barley, but I thought what the heck.
One down note my wort was not as clear as usual, which I can only attribute to the amount of TW that I used as my technique, mash temps, mash time and boil length where all as I have done for the last 4 brews. Oh well as long as it tastes good that is all that matters.
