
Tonight we drew off a half of the Judy Garland Stout, which is in the local pub cellar. It had no condition at all - on closer inspection that cap had split! Second time that has happened to us!
So we tried to "melt" the crack with a lighter, seemed to work, resterilised it and resealed, and zapped it with CO2 - seems ok but will check in the morning to see if the pressure's gone again.
Bugger!
