I'd say its stout weather.
the fixby gold if you haven't done it before is a fantastic pint, but for my taste as a light hoppy golden ale its a really nice warm weather beer (preferably bottled and chilled a bit. lovely) - my batch in the summer was just the job for a warm evening.
at the end of the day its up to you what you fancy. The Black Pearl is supposed to be a nice one.

Conditioning: Headcracker, Brewmaker Northumberland Brown, Brewmaker Export Bitter
Drinking: Coopers Euro Lager, Coopers Dark Ale, Hambleton Bard Amber Export, Coopers Aussie Pale Ale, Almondbury Old, Coopers Stout, Wherry w/Chinook
