Confused what temp to store bottles and kegs?
I have been reading about "beer fridges" on this forum,, what is the best coditions for maturing barrels and bottles, I just leave them in the garage.
Thanks, this game keeps you on your toesDaaB wrote:The ideal cellar temperature is 13 deg c, not that many people have the luxury of attaining that (except with modified fridges) so don't worry if you can manage that. I store mine at room temp and chill before serving. Occasionally I wil put a keg in a bucket of water with ice packs.

out of interest.. well space!
when cold conditioning, as I am new to it, how long should something be "chilled" for before being fine just left at room temp again until being knocked back?
basically there is not enough room in my fridge for everything I would ideally have in there, so in the name of rotation, would you say a minimum of 2-3 weeks at cool conditions would be enough before putting back out at room temp?
