So I am really into the two high alpha hops Amarillo and Nelson Sauvin at the moment. Fruit salad heaven.

As such my next brew, AG#17 will feature them both very heavily! As it is national homebrew day on Saturday I plan on getting a brew on for then. I'll be having a mate assist for the first time, so best behaviour. Recipe came from here as a base but I've fannied about with it based on what I could get.

Style: American Pale

Fermentables (OG: 1.060/FG: 1.014/ABV: 6.2%)
German Pilsner Malt - 3851g (67%)
UK Crystal Wheat Malt - 632g (11%)
Munich Malt - 632g (11%)
Rolled Oats - 632g (11%)

Hops (IBU: 44.9)
10g@60mins: New Zealand Nelson Sauvin - 13%AA
10g@60mins: USA Amarillo - 10%AA
15g@20mins: New Zealand Nelson Sauvin - 13%AA
15g@20mins: USA Amarillo - 10%AA
40g@0mins: New Zealand Nelson Sauvin - 13%AA
40g@0mins: USA Amarillo - 10%AA
35g@dryhop: New Zealand Nelson Sauvin - 13%AA
35g@dryhop: USA Amarillo - 10%AA

Yeast:
Whitelabs WLP001 American Ale Yeast

Single Step Infusion Mash at 66C with Mash Out

that is going to be a lovely dry hop, save a few bottles for a year to 18 months, bet its a different sort of amazing when aged :)
