Looks good, my first AG was an APA, a Sierra Nevada clone recipe, was lovely

Thanks mate....I'm hoping so. I made an 1.5ltr starter couple of days before using the WLP 060 American Ale Yeast - Its going off like the clappers now, and has a lovely large creamy head on top......

I'm thinking of dry hopping with 50g of Centennial do you think that'll be ok??

One of the best, for this style at least. There's a reason people refer to Centennial as "Super-Cascade." If you want immediately recognizable American hops aspects--grapefruit and pine resin--then Cascade and Centennial are the most obvious go-to options.

Do be sure to include at least 100 ppm sulfate (I prefer 300) in the water and keep the alkalinity low. That recipe looks fine.

I just finished off a similarly hopped IPA that focuses on Cascade and Centennial. Its a good combination.

I did thank you. I was going originally go for the 3 C's.........Cluster, Cascade and Centennial.....but i'll be honest......i thought the Cluster smelt like Cats P1ss a tad and was worried about that coming through....Could i ask your thoughts??

Now to address the 2-ton gorilla in the room: why is a revered English brewery and guild wasting their time on an American Pale Ale contest? No judgment, just a bit bewildered. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.
