Whats the minimum equipment needed to start grain brewing?

As a long time away from the scene kit brewer, what should I buy to get started on grain brewing. I have a book and a gleam in me eye at the moment but not a lot else! So any advice would be most welcomed.

now that would be handy! The wife is already relegating me to the shed in case of damage to innocent bystanders.

I suggest relegating her to the shed during a brewing session then let her out once it is time to clean up :wink:

I now have an electrim boiler curtesy of my local charity shop, cost me all of £2.50!

:shock: I think that has to be the best bargain I've ever heard about on JHBF =D>

If you can boil water in it, you can use it for brewing :wink:
