Ok ive bit the bullet and picked a homewrecker kit up today and wiill get it underway a bit later.
In the instructions it says to rehydrate the yeast as per the instructions on the sachet and guess what??.....it s a plain silver sachet with no instructions.....doh!!
The main instructions say its a gervin ale yeast so is there a special way to hydrate it or shall i just mix it with a some wort and put it in a bottle to start?
Oh BTW at the bottom of the instruction sheet it says for any more help or info go to jims homebrew forum!!!
So you see im only following the instructions
Cheers!

How many kits are in this range? I've seen 5 at Leyland but I've looked at the Milestone Brewery website and I like the sound of their Rich Ruby! Do they do this one as a kit?

You're right about the Ruby, it is very nice! ...well, it is out of the bottle...

Milestone Brewery is a few miles down the road from me.
